Went to film some drifting last night in the snow...too bad the cameraman holds the camera like he's whacking off with it. Then we tried to do some night time GTing down ching hill...I got one run down (actually some pretty sweet speed) before we nearly got run off the property by security. Good thing we had engines running waiting for me after my run. But hey, at least it was caught on tape! On the way home, my friends ride decides it's alternator belt doesn't want to work -- AT 4AM! Hahah nothing like an engine overheating in -9 weather. So that was the condensed version of my night.

I know I said I was going to keep the update short, but then I read this recap of Kobe Bryant's game last night. You know when you got a stretch of hitting only 1 of 6 shots in the last 5 minutes you shouldn't be playing. What the hell are you doing to try so hard and get 40 points for? 39 is just as good for the team. It's a team game by the way. Ahh well, another reason I don't watch basketball I guess.

I'm gonna keep the update short and relatively uncreative today. First all your spelling sucks so get a spell checker for IE that will check text boxes for spelling errors (/me looks at Sw0rdFish and his blog).

The idea is not really news, but the interesting part is the host of links to interesting new (free) software that lets you do it, including: Manywhere Moblogger (Java), WAPBlog (Perl), and KABLOG (J2ME mobile Java, runs on devices like Palms, the Treo and Blackberries). All three of these interface to also-free server side tech which you need to set up yourself (KABLOG interfaces to the popular MovableType server and compatibles). The article also mentions the proprietary foneblog service which seems very easy to use, but it is software intended to be run by cellphone companies for their users."

I'm moving to Zurich

You know what gets me mad? When I'm at work and I try to do anything for more than 5 minutes and somebody starts talking to me. Don't these people know I couldn't care less what they are saying that's why my whole body is turned away from them? Fuck then some fuckers come in through the door expecting me to solve their problems! WTF is that?

For those that want the family guy dvd (and I know there is a lot of you) you can preorder it from Amazon.ca. For an extra $30, you can add in Futurama. Personally, I'm only going with Family Guy, but that's just me.

Didn't update the site for a couple days. Personal reasons more than anything else. I was asked if I wanted to work some extra hours today so I accepted (I need cash right now). About an hour after I accpeted I realized that I had a Soccer game today. I felt horrible that I would be missing the game. To add insult to injury, we CST FC lost 7-6 to a bunch of wops. What really hurts is that in 2 games combined I only let in 6 goals (a GAA of 3). Man I felt bad for missing the game. We play 2 weeks from now so hopefully I'll have a chance to redeem myself with a shut out.

Got a google search box on my website now. I took off the logo because it didn't blend well with my background. That's one more thing on my sidebar to clutter it up. I really need a new design.

OMG the impossible has happend. What's the one thing you wish would happen everytime you write an exam? That somehow, someway, the teacher wouldn't be able to print it out and you get to write the exam another day. Well, it happend today to me and the rest of my class. And to be tottaly honest with you, it felt pretty damm good. I've prayed for this day all my life. I've dreamed of what it would be like. I'm happy, no two ways about it. This is the exact reason I don't study for tests also...you never know what could happen. Now that one impossibility has happend, the next one isn't too far away...The Professor saying something intelligent. Ok ok ok, let's not get too far ahead of ourseleves.

Of course there is always the group of people in the class who feel upset that they didn't get to do the midterm today. To you I give you a big HA HA. Why the fuck wouldn't you be happy? Seriously, some people just have something shoved so far up their a$$es that they don't know what the fuck is important in life anymore. So that leaves me with only 2 exams this week: SQL and C programming. Not bad eh?

Oh yeah, one last thing, I updated my bottler servers.ini file ... again ... so now it connects with about 30 servers (depending on the version of bottler you are using). Right click that link and select save target as in your bottler directory, or copy link location and specify it as a remote server file in bottler if you don't want to keep downloading it.

Hey hey everybody. Just a quick word from the chosen one for my weekend update. Google is now my offical web search engine. I'll post a link up to their web search later on (hey my site is becoming a portal =) Oh yeah and if you didn't clue in yet, google bought out blogger. What does this mean? Well probably nothing other than blog spot will now be hosted by google. Hmm, I just might consider moving over my page to googles servers one day....well let's see how this purchase pans out first.

Well, the winning keeps on going as CST F.C. evened their Indoor Soccer record to 1-1. Led by the stellar goaltending of Stu and the excellent skillz of the Nigerian Striker as well as the brilliant touch of Jay (I can't think of a nickname right now) and Sw0rdFish's superb playmaking skills, CST F.C. claimed a 5-2 win over their unnamed opponents.

You know what's funny? When somebody makes a prediction and it's dead wrong! HAHAHA PORTUGAL LOST!!!! FORZA ITALIA

Even though the professor is crying over Portugal's loss to Italy (I already rubbed it in) he shouldn't be too upset with himself today. He redeemed himself with a reason to watch women's soccer.

For those that tried to use bottler this morning and had problems, it was all my fault. Without going into details, next time you upload your servers.ini to an ftp, remember to transfer binary not ascii (even though it's plain text). Anyways, here's the updated version with more servers and channels.

Hmm, seems like nobody bothered to come to school today. Ahh well their loss I guess, I get to listen to Doug speak. Let's see what do I got to do today? Hmm, well there's work, but that's not untill 5. Uhh that's actually about it. If I can make it through operating systems and then systems programming, I'll be on easy street. It sucks being at work all day today because I just bought Road To Rome yesterday and I'm dying to play some more of it. As Sw0rdFish will tell you, I tottaly owned up on Baytown yesterday. Had a kills per minute rating of 3.8! That's tottaly insane. Had I joined the round at the begining, there would have been some serious scoring going on. If you haven't got BF 1942 yet, you need help. Game of the year by far!

The Professor has just informed me that Italy-Portugal are playing in a meaningless friendly today @ 3pm on TLN. Well since Portugal is the greatest choke artist of all time, you know they'll play extra hard in a meaningless games so outside countries think they are a below average soccer team, when in reality, they should be relegated to playing Canada for the CONCACAF cup.

In related fuck news, fuck Micheal Jordan's last all star game. Is there a more pathetic show possible by one man than missing his first 7 attempts to score during the game? Yes there is, Kobe Bryant not being able to put away 3 free throws to end the game. Fuck him, that ain't clutch, that's merely adaquate. I've said it before to people I know, Kobe isn't great, he's merely riding Shaq's ability. But now back to Jordan, they give the fucker 2 chances to win the game and he still can't do it. Buddy stop embrassing yourself now and get out of the fucking game. You used to be good, now you are just making a joke of yourself. You notice how the NBA all star game isn't even on network TV? Good job ABC, that piece of shit sport doesn't deserve to be on National TV. I shouldn't even call basketball a sport...it's a bunch of fluff with some filler and a bunch of stoners on the court. And why give the All Star game to a city that only averages 5000 people for a regular season game? Why not reward cities with good attendance? That's David Stern for you, now that he can't be milking Micheal Jordan for every last cent, you'll see how good a commissioner he is. Face it, the only good commissioner in pro sports is Paul Taglibue. His sport is the only one that understands more isn't better. I say the NHL should follow and only have games on Wednesday and Saturday...with the odd Monday or Tuesday night showcase. Give the players a rest so they play harder each week.

Fuck it's February and I'm still not into hockey this year. What's wrong with me? I dunno, I just can't get excited. It has nothing to do with the teams, just that the season is too bloody long. Talk to me in March and hopefully I'll start caring. I know once the playoffs come around I'll start caring. That seems to be the only hockey I watch every year. Only 6 months until NFL training camp starts. 2 months until the draft. Damm it's going to be a long off season.

Woke up this morning to find out that I've been slacking with my blog updates. Ahh well what am I to do? How about post some good news about the $99 (USD) Xbox? Supposed to be available in May (in time for co-op) I think I'll hold off my purchase untill then. Only drawback is you must purchase an Xbox live kit with it too, but I was probably going to get that anyway, so it looks to be a win win situation. The new xbox model will be smaller and stackable (like the PS2) and the rumor is it will be called Xbox Lite.

I haven't posted in a couple days due to some issues going on around homebase (vans running into stoplights). Needless to say I won't be going out for a while and a second job wouldn't hurt. Anyways what I have noticed is how much I miss playing BattleField 1942. I love that damm game, soo much fun. I'm begining to kick myself for not playing it last month. One great thing I see about the game is the mods that are comming out for them. Check out Battlefield Central for some info on a couple of mods. My favorite seems to be Conflict in Somolia (which follows the black hawk down story) and the Star Wars one they got comming out right now. Nothing like Walking around in a AT-ST is there?

Not to be out done the offical Battlefield team has their own expansion pack out. Called Road To Rome, you know every Italian that has the game is buying their own copy of it. Being able to fight with the Italian infantry is a goal of mine as I know that some of my family members have served for the Italain forces long ago. (Grandfather in the Infantry, Uncle in the Navy, cousin in the infantry). I can't wait until this mod comes out!
